Luftwaffe Emblem JG 54 / 9th Squadron

The 9th Squadron belonged to the famous Jagdgeschwader 54 "Grünherz" (Green Heart Fighter Wing).

They flew the Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter aircraft, and in 1943, they converted to the Focke Wulf 190.

They were deployed in the Battle of Britain, in Russia, and later in the so-called "Defense of the Reich". The squadron was also involved in operations in Dunkirk during attacks on the British Expeditionary Force.

This unique piece is elaborately and lovingly handcrafted in Germany in a "vintage look" and recreated with a curvature corresponding to the original aircraft part.

The sheet metal was made from aircraft aluminum. The squadron emblem corresponds to the original emblem used at the time in color, shape, and size.

This emblem is not mass-produced, but is applied by hand, just as it was back then at the operational airfields.
